Dean “Dino” Bardinelli

-

Dean Bardinelli of Stratford, age 63, passed into eternal rest on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at his home surrounded by loved ones. He was born in Bridgeport to Diane Stearns-Kuhl Bardinelli and the late Ronald Bardinelli.

Dean used the carpentry skills he learned as a graduate of the Bullard-Havens High School for an early career as a self-employed contractor before transitioning to dutifully serving the community as a police officer of the Bridgeport Police Department.

His love of music, motorcycles, New York professional sports (Yankees and Giants) and a good laugh were on full display wherever he went. Dean did it his way, lived life to the fullest, was the center of attention, the life of the party, a man of the people and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with friends and family members. He cherished the bonds he made as a member of the Elks and Germania Schwaben (German) Clubs, as well as the friendships formed over a beer at the bar or in the clubhouse after one of his many rounds of golf.

He was a devout Catholic who always remained grounded in his faith. His love for the Lord was rivaled only by his love for his daughter, Sweet Melissa. He will be dearly missed by everyone who ever had the pleasure of crossing his path.

Left to cherish his memory are: his beloved daughter, Melissa Geter and her husband Stanley, of Monroe, his mother Diane Bardinelli of Trumbull, his sister Laura Achilles and her husband Bill, of Bridgeport, his brother Scott Bardinelli and his wife Debi, of Trumbull; his longtime girlfriend Anna Ceste of Stratford and many other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by brother Larry Bardinelli.

Friends may call on Sunday, 11/21/21, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Pistey Funeral Home, 2155 Main Street, Stratford. Mass will be held on Monday, 11/22/21, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Grace Church, 497 Second Hill Lane, Stratford, followed by burial at Gates of Heaven cemetery, 1056 Daniels Farm Road, Trumbull. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in his memory to SWIM Across the Sound, 2800 Main St, Bridgeport, CT 06606. Please visit www. pisteyfuneralhome.com to express condolences
