Concetta (Connie) I. Cantafio Sandor, age 89, of Bridgeport, beloved wife of the late John A. Sandor, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 27, 2021 with her loving family by her side. Born on October 14, 1932 in Bridgeport, CT, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Lucy Riccio Cantafio. A graduate of Warren Harding High School, Connie was a retired administra­tive assistant for the Quinnipiac School of Law. She also took great pride in volunteeri­ng at St. Vincent’s Medical Center for over 20 years. She was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmothe­r and great grandmothe­r. The unconditio­nal love she gave, and the memories shared will forever live in the hearts of all who loved her. In addition to her husband, John, Connie was predecease­d by a son, John F. Sandor and brothers, Louis and Joseph Cantafio. Survivors include her loving children, James A. Sandor and his wife Valerie, Marylu Selavka and her husband Stevan and Jeffrey C Sandor, daughter-in-law, Lynn Sandor, seven cherished grandchild­ren, Jenn, Brett, Lauren, Matthew, Beau, Troy and Summer, eight adored great-grandchild­ren, Nate, Cam, Lily, Alexa, Alexander, Clare, Everly and Xavier; a brother, Armand Cantafio, a sister, Roseann Luba, as well as many nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in Holy Name of Jesus Church, 1950 Barnum Ave., Stratford. Interment will follow in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Stratford. A walk-through visitation will take place on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. Masks are recommende­d. In lieu of flowers, those desiring, may make memorial contributi­ons to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 510 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, www. stjude.org.
