Patsy L. Bennett, age 82, lifelong resident of Fairfield passed peacefully Saturday, November 27, 2021 with his loving family at his side. He was born January 28, 1939, the son of the late Mary and Patsy Bennett.

Pat was the owner and operator of Bennett Service Station and Red Coach Trucking Co. He was a member of the Bridgeport Racing Pigeon Club and later spent most of his time gardening. Until his illness he could be seen every Sunday at Holy Family Church, same pew, same seat. Special thanks to his wonderful caregivers. He will be forever missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Judith, and was the proud father of Patsy J. Bennett and Thomas E. Bennett of Bridgeport, his grandchild­ren; Whitney, Thomas, Nico and Matthew, his nieces; Karen, Merrilynn, and Erika, his nephew, Timothy and sisterin-law, June. In addition to his loving parents, Pat was predecease­d by his beloved daughter, Pamela and his cherished sister, Linda.

Friends are invited to attend funeral on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. DIRECTLY in Holy Family Church, 700 old Stratfield Rd., Fairfield with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be private at the convenienc­e of the family. Friends may attend a walk-through visitation on Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the ParenteLau­ro Funeral Home 559 Washington Ave. Bridgeport.
