Rose (Marranzino) DeGeralomo, age 93, of Bridgeport passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, February 24, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late John M. DeGeralomo. Born in Bridgeport on April 26, 1928, she was a daughter of the late Philip and Rose (Nastasia) Marranzino. Rose enjoyed cooking and baking and was famous for the cookies she made at Christmas time and her pies at Easter. Rose was happiest in the time she spent surrounded by her family and friends. A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmothe­r, greatgrand­mother, sister, aunt and friend of many. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her loving sons, Gary Rizzitelli and his companion Nina Florio of Fairfield and Wayne DeGeralomo of Bridgeport, her stepchildr­en, Robert DeGeralomo of Kentucky and Gail Lampert of Maryland, her cherished grandchild­ren, Kimberly Guman of FL, Shannon Dingus and her husband Brian of Branford and Alicia Jaswaye of Boston, MA, her sister, Florence Natale of Trumbull, as well as seven great-grandchild­ren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband John of 62 years, she was also predecease­d by her stepson, Brian DeGeralomo, her sister, Mary Roberto and her brother, Rocco Marranzino.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 28, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Friends may greet the family on Monday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
