Theresa E. Bertola

Theresa E. Bertola passed away peacefully on Monday, May 16, 2022, at the age of 90, in her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bridgeport on December 15, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Grosso and was a lifelong city of Bridgeport resident. She graduated from Central High School and the University of Bridgeport. She was a dedicated employee at Sikorsky Aircraft for over 30 years.

She is survived by her loving children; her daughter, Janice Larkin and her husband Paul; her sons, David Bertola and Stephen Bertola and Jeannine and Kaitlyn Kocis; her grandchildren, Jason Larkin and his wife Rita, Kevin Larkin, Kenneth Bertola, and Sara Bertola; her great-grandchildren, Luke and Sofia Larkin; and a brother, Michael Grosso and his wife Nancy. She was predeceased by her loving son, Kenneth Bertola. The family would like to extend our gratitude and appreciation for her caregivers Juliet and Anna.

Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Thursday, May 19, 2022, at 9:00 a.m. in the Parente-Lauro Funeral Home, 559 Washington Ave., Bridgeport, and at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of The Assumption Church, 5422 Stratfield Rd., Fairfield with a Mass of Christian Burial.
