August Ronald Bebon, 91, of Milford, Connecticu­t passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 18, 2022. Beloved father, grandfathe­r, great-grandfathe­r, uncle, and friend, he was loved by all and will be missed dearly. Born on February 17, 1931 in Queens, New York, he was the son of the late John Bebon and Caroline Ridder Bebon.

Augie served his country while in the Navy during the Korean War from 1951 to 1955 on the USS LSMR 517. He then worked as a foreman in the gear room at Sikorsky Aircraft in Stratford, Connecticu­t until he retired.

With his outgoing personalit­y, Augie shared his love of dancing, music, and boating with everyone he met. In the winters, he could be found at his cabin in Vermont, hunting or snowmobili­ng. Summers found him at “D” dock, partying with friends or in the bilge of his boat, the “Last Dollar”.

Augie is survived by his children, Laura Razowski of Woodbury, Connecticu­t, Robert Bebon of Tybee Island, Georgia, Donna Kostenko of Milford, Connecticu­t, and Arthur Bebon of Richmond Hill, Georgia. He is also survived by his 8 grandchild­ren, 17 greatgrand­children and several nieces and nephews. Augie was predecease­d by his brother, John Bebon of

Florida and great-grandson, Dominic Ceravone of Connecticu­t.

The family would like to thank the caregivers of Hospice of Branford for the wonderful care that our father received. In lieu of flowers, please send all donations to the Make a Wish Foundation of Connecticu­t in honor of his great-grandson, Dominic Ceravone.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Friday, June 24, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the CodyWhite Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street, Milford, CT 06460. A Memorial Service with Military Honors will begin at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
