Poidomani, John G. age 97 of Easton entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 6, 2023 in Bridgeport Hospital.

Born in New York on June 11, 1925, he was the son of the late Carmelo and Mildred (Rimando) Poidomani. He graduated from Norwalk High School in 1943. John proudly serves in the US Army during WWII and was one of the few remaining soldiers to have fought in both the European and Pacific Theaters. John was co-owner of Reo Appliance with his loving wife for over 35 years in East Norwalk. Marie passed away in 2012 following 64 years of marriage.

John was a special person who touched many throughout his life. He loved to travel with Marie around the world, following the stock market, gold, eating, gardening and later in life playing cards with his many friends at his beloved Easton Senior Center.

John is survived by his brother Anthony and wife Kathy Poidomani of Norwalk, his nephews Anthony Jr, Michael and Christophe­r Poidomani, and niece Lori Whelan, brother and sisterin-law Philip and Carolyn Battaglia of Easton, and niece Virginia Berry and nephew Vincent Battaglia.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for both John and Marie at Notre Dame Catholic Church, 655 Morehouse Lane, Easton, on January 31st, Tuesday at 10 a.m. Their interment in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery will be private.
