Robert A. Bonazzo Sr., age 75, of Trumbull, beloved husband of Lisa Daniel Bonazzo, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 3, 2023 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his loving family and friends. Born in Bridgeport on April 27, 1947 he was a son of the late Louis and Loretta Puglio Bonazzo. A U.S. Army veteran, Bobby served his country proudly. A true lover of music, Bobby was a member of the Army Band, numerous local bands and enjoyed playing many gigs in the area for his friends and family. He shared his great love of music at the Regional School of Arts; where he taught for over 25 years. He loved going to work to teach and see the passion on the faces of his students. But above all roles in life, none was greater than that of husband and father. He treasured time with his family and the unconditio­nal love he gave and the memories created will forever live in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Bobby will be deeply missed. He was predecease­d by a son, Robert A. Bonazzo Jr., his brother, Louis Bonazzo, mother-in-law, Rosemary Daniel, brotherin-law, Michael Daniel and nephew DJ DiVincenzo. Dobbs, sisters and brothersin-law Carol Bonazzo, Karen Sando, and Stephen Daniel III and his wife Colleen, dear friends Joey and Andrea (The Good Wife) D’Amico, as well as several nieces, nephews, colleagues and many friends. Funeral services will take place on Friday, February 10, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in St. Theresa Church, 5301 Main St., Trumbull for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with military honors will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributi­ons may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675, to honor his son’s military service.
