Beach houses are among the most valuable real estate properties out there. What to consider if you are thinking of selling yours?

1. WHITE. A white foundation will always sell in a beach house. “Buyers have simply lost interest in color. If you want to sell quickly and for the most money, invest in decoloring,” says Casey.

TREND PIECES. “Buy some current and latest design trend pieces—a small investment for a big return. You may not like it, but your buyer will,” says Casey. This way, your home will have more mass appeal, and you won’t be trying to sell buyers on your style.

BEACH ACCESSORIES. Even if you don’t partake in popular beach activities, display bikes, paddle boards and other beach-related items. “Show and offer what beach living is all about,” says Casey.
