Editor’s Letter
Asyou browse through this issue of Country Sampler, we hope you’ll take note of a few enhancements that we made to the editorial section. We’re pleased to let you know that, beginning with this edition, we have expanded our “Reader Mail” section and also introduced a new department that focuses on reinventing rooms and everyday objects. Here are the highlights of the new content inside, as well as what’s been happening on our social media scene:
Country Connections—We have included a second page dedicated to sharing heartfelt letters and idea-filled photos from our readers. Turn to page 7 to learn how to submit your own story or photos for possible inclusion in a future issue.
Creative Conversions—This new article presents easy and inexpensive makeovers, large and small, from flea-market goods to room redos. This month, we share five clever ways to transform common items into unique planters (pages 16 and 17).
Country Sampler Extra e-newsletter—In this redesign of our current monthly e-newsletters, you’ll find inspiration for infusing your home with seasonal style, simple decorating tricks, and a sneak peek at what we’ll be featuring in upcoming issues of Country Sampler, Home Tours and our Special Interest Publications (www.countrysampler.com/newsletter_signup).
At Home with Country Sampler blog—We invite you to log on to our recently launched blog to meet our staff, get exclusive behind-the-scenes looks at our photo shoots, and take away advice straight from our stylists on how to create the cozy look you love (www.countrysampler.com/blog).
Instagram—We encourage you to follow us to see beautifully decorated homes, quaint gardens, and quality country accessories and furnishings (www.instagram.com/countrysamplermagazine).
In addition to the new content in this issue, you’ll find beautiful home tours that will appeal to your patriotic side, a vibrant garden full of country fare, and tips for maximizing a cabinet’s display and storage potential. We hope you’ll enjoy all the things we have in store for you in print and online. Let us know what you think!
