Homebrewing & Centrifugation

Because much of the benefit of mechanical separation is found in gains to efficiency or reduction in production time, centrifugation isn’t a technology that has found much use on the homebrew scale. Of course, there are inventive homebrewers who’ve tried to add a separator to their setups, from using a washing machine to separate wort from mash to managing yeast cultures with a DIY lab centrifuge.
