What our panel thought

Aroma: “Orange, pineapple, and light pine notes up front with a slight butter character that comes through. As the beer warms, the fruity notes express more. Malt gives off a boozy character with some evident sweetness.” Flavor: “Juicy orange and malt sweetness up front with some pinelike hops character. The sweetness almost offsets the bitterness from the piney hops. Hops bitterness lingers pleasantly.” Overall: “Bold hops levels, lots of bitterness but with plenty of malt backbone. A bit rich and sweet in the overall balance, but a tasty hops-bomb sipper. All the components express themselves individually and in turn.”
