- Design by Kathleen Stuart

PATTERN NOTES

Weave in loose ends as work progresses. Join rounds with a slip stitch unless otherwise stated. To use scraps, a variety of light and dark yarn will be needed. For each square: light yarn sections 1 and 2 need 71/2 yards, sections 5 and 6 need 141/2 yards; dark yarn sections 3 and 4 need 141/2 yards and sections 7 and 8 need 16 yards. Center yarn sections need 106 yards total. The outer light and dark sections each use about 211/2 yards per square, so you will need about 530 yards of yarn because you always use the same color of yarn for each square and joining square.
