PATTERN NOTES

Four Rows of Woven Blocks are created with harpswell on a portable pin-weaving loom and joined as you go on their points in a diamond pattern. Motifs are subsequently crocheted into the open spaces with cliff. Half Motifs are worked along the entire border and Fringe added along each short side. Chain-1 at beginning of any row or round counts as first single crochet unless otherwise stated. Each Row has 11 Woven Blocks. Follow Placement Diagram for joining Woven Blocks, Motifs and Half Motifs. Weave in loose ends as work progresses. Join with slip stitch as indicated unless otherwise stated. Chain-3 at beginning of round counts as first half double crochet and chain-1 unless otherwise stated.
