ASSEM­BLY Body & Bot­tom

Sew ends of body tog to cre­ate a ring. Cen­ter bot­tom in­side ring of body with RS fac­ing up. Sew bot­tom, tak­ing care to keep first rnd of bot­tom cen­tered. Make sure bot­tom is taut so that piece lies flat.

Head & Tail

Cen­ter tail on top of ring at body seam and sew in place. Align and cen­ter head di­rectly across from tail and sew in place.

Wings

With wing tip point­ing up­ward and rounded end placed 1 row from head, sew across top edge of wing un­til sts are slightly past mid­point of wing. Slide nee­dle down across rows of wing and pull tail through to lower edge. Work­ing to­ward head, sew lower edge of wing to body, se­cur­ing at beg st and leav­ing back end of wing un­sewn.

Beak

Cen­ter beak 1 row un­der safety eyes and sew around, pulling sides slightly out­ward as sewing pro­gresses to give beak a re­al­is­tic ap­pear­ance.

FLAMINGO

With fuch­sia, work body, bot­tom, tail and wings same as Duck.
