FINISHED MEASUREMENTS 29 inches wide x 40 inches long MATERIALS • Red Heart Classic medium (worsted) weight acrylic yarn (31/2 oz/ 190 yds/100g per skein): 4 skeins #12 black 2 skeins each #230 yellow, #253 tangerine, #588 amethyst, #676 emerald, #730 grenadine and #848 skipper blue • Sizes G/6/4mm and Q/16mm crochet hooks or size needed to obtain gauge • Tapestry needle GAUGE Size Q hook and 3 strands: Rnd 1 = 4 inches in diameter; Motif = 11 inches from point to point
PATTERN NOTES
Hold 3 strands together throughout unless otherwise stated. Weave in loose ends as work progresses. Chain-3 at beginning of round counts as first double crochet unless otherwise stated. Join with slip stitch as indicated unless otherwise stated.

MOTIF
Make 10. Note: Make 2 each with CC yarn: amethyst, blue, emerald, grenadine & tangerine. Rnd 1: With size Q hook and 3 strands of yellow held tog (see Pattern Notes), ch 4, sl st in first ch to form ring, ch 3 (see Pattern Notes), 2 dc in ring, [ch 1, 3 dc in ring] 5 times, ch 1, join (see Pattern Notes) in top of beg ch-3. Fasten off. (18 dc, 6 ch-1 sps)
Rnd 2: Join CC yarn in any ch-1 sp, ch 3, (2 dc, ch 1, 3 dc) in same sp (first petal), [ch 1, (3 dc, ch 1, 3 dc) in next ch-1 sp (petal)] around, ch 1, join in top of beg ch-3. Fasten off. (6 petals, 6 ch-1 sps) Rnd 3: Working in back lps (see
Stitch Guide), join black in any ch-1 sp between petals, ch 3, 2 dc in same sp, (3 dc, ch 1, 3 dc) in ch-1 sp of next petal, [3 dc in next ch-1 sp between petals, (3 dc, ch 1, 3 dc) in ch-1 sp of next petal] around, join in top of beg ch-3. Fasten off. (54 dc, 6 ch-1 sps)
ASSEMBLY
Hold 2 Motifs with WS tog. With size G hook and 1 strand of black, working in both thicknesses and back lps, sc loosely across one edge. Fasten off. Rep to join Motifs into 2 rows of 3 Motifs each and 1 row of 4 Motifs. Sc loosely in same manner to join rows tog. Fasten off.
