Coat crochet hook with a small amount of baby powder or hand lotion so yarn will slide easily on hook. Reapply as needed as work progresses. Aluminum crochet hooks are recommended for this project. To fit handles of larger standard hook sizes, add repeats of row 2; to fit smaller standard hooks, decrease repeats of row 2. For a longer or shorter Cozy, increase or decrease number of beginning chains. Weave in ends with darning needle with latch hook eye.
