PATTERN NOTES

Motifs are made and assembled in Bottom, Top and Sleeve Stripes. Lower part of Body is worked in rows along the edge of Bottom Stripes. Upper part is worked similarly along Top Stripe. Lower and Upper parts are then stitched together. Sleeves are worked in rows along edge of Sleeve Stripes and then joined to the Body. Note that for sizes Small, Large and X-Large one or two rows are added to the edge of the original Star Motif to fit the appropriate bust measurements. Chain-3 at beginning of round and row counts as first double crochet unless otherwise stated. Join with slip stitch as indicated unless otherwise stated. Chain-7 at beginning of round counts as first double treble crochet and chain-3 unless otherwise stated. Chain-4 at beginning of round counts as first double crochet and chain-1 unless otherwise stated.
