Rnd 1: Leaving 1-inch length at beg, ch 6, join (see Pattern Notes) in 6th ch from hook to form ring, hold beg length behind ring and working over beg length until gone, ch 1, 12 sc in ring, join in beg sc. Rnd 6: Working in back lps of rnd 2, join cotton in st marked with safety pin, remove pin, ch 1, sc in same st as beg ch-1, sc in each of next 23 sts, join in beg sc. (24 sc)

Rnd 7: Ch 1, sc in same sc, ch 3, [sc in next sc, ch 3] around, join in beg sc. (24 sc, 24 ch-3 sps) Rnd 8: Sl st in next ch-3 sp, ch 1, (sc, ch 3, sc) in same ch-3 sp as beg ch-1, (sc, ch 3, sc) in each rem ch-3 sp around, join in beg sc.
