Rnd 2: Join white in any ch-2 sp, (ch 3, 2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in same sp
(corner), ch 1, [(3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next ch sp (corner), ch 1] 3 times, join in 3rd ch of beg ch-3. Fasten off. (24 dc, 4 ch-1 sps, 4 ch-2 sps)
Rnd 3: Join light blue with sc in any corner ch-2 sp, (sc, ch 3, 2 sc) in same sp, *ch 1, sk next st, sc in next st, ch 1, sk next st, 2 sc in next ch-1 sp, ch 1, sk next st, sc in next st, ch 1, sk next st**, (2 sc, ch 3, 2 sc) in next corner ch-2 sp, rep from * around ending last rep at **, join in beg sc. Fasten off. (32 sc, 16 ch-1 sps, 4 ch-3 sps) Separate a strand of light blue into 2-ply lengths. Hold Blocks WS tog, matching sts, with 2-ply strand, sew tog through
back lps (see Stitch Guide) in 3 rows of 3 blocks each.
