Floral Hexagon Throw
PATTERN NOTES
Throw is made from 46 Hexagon motifs joined with a join-as-you-go technique. Work all pieces through round 8, then refer to written pattern and Placement Diagram for joining sequence in round 9. Weave in loose ends as work progresses. Join with slip stitch as indicated unless otherwise stated.
SPECIAL STITCHES

Chain-2 join (ch-2 join): Ch 1, drop lp from hook, insert hook from front to back in corresponding ch-2 sp of adjacent Hexagon, pick up lp and draw through sp, ch 1.
THROW HEXAGON
Make 46. Rnd 1 (RS): With size J hook and tea leaf, ch 6, join (see Pattern Notes) in first ch to form a ring, ch 1, 12 sc in ring, join in beg sc. (12 sc)
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc around, join in beg sc. Fasten off. (24 sc)
Rnd 3: With RS facing, join gold in any sc, ch 1, sc in same sc, [ch 2, sk next sc, sc in next sc] around to last sc, ch 2, sk last sc, join in beg sc. Fasten off. (12 sc, 12 ch-2 sps)
Rnd 4: With RS facing, join Delft blue in any ch-2 sp, ch 1, sc in same sp, [sc in next sc, 2 sc in next ch-2 sp] 11 times, sc in each of last sc and first ch-2 sp, join in beg sc.
