PATTERN NOTES Weave in loose ends as work progresses. Join with slip stitch as indicated unless otherwise stated. Each flower requires 21/ 3 yards crochet cotton. For placement of Flowers use Assembly Diagram as a guide.

SPECIAL STITCH

Joining point: Sc in indicated point of current Flower, (ch 1, sl st) in ch-3 sp on indicated point of previous Flower, (ch 1, sc) in same indicated point of current Flower.

DOILY FLOWER GROUP Make 7. First Flower

Rnd 1: With white, leaving 2-inch length, ch 2, working over rem length until worked into Flower, 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook, join (see

Pattern Notes) in first sc. (6 sc) Rnd 2: [Ch 4, sl st in next sc] 6 times. (6 ch-4 sps)

Rnd 3: Ch 1, (sc, ch 2, 3 tr, ch 2, sc) in next ch-4 sp (petal) and in each rem ch-4 sp around, join in beg sc. Fasten off. (6 petals)

2nd Flower

Rnds 1 & 2: Rep rnds 1 and 2 of First Flower.

Rnd 3: Ch 1, [(sc, ch 2, 3 tr, ch 2, sc) in next ch-4 sp] 5 times, (sc, ch 2, 2 tr) in next ch-4 sp, ch 1, sl st in center tr of any petal of First Flower, ch 1, (tr, ch 2, sc) in same ch-4 sp, join in first sc. Fasten off.

3rd–6th Flowers

Rnds 1 & 2: Rep rnds 1 and 2 of First Flower.

Rnd 3: Ch 1, [(sc, ch 2, 3 tr, ch 2, sc) in next ch-4 sp] 4 times, (sc, ch 2, 2 tr) in next ch-4 sp, ch 1, sl st in center tr of next free petal of First Flower, ch 1, (tr, ch 2, sc) in same ch-4 sp on working Flower, (sc, ch 2, 2 tr) in next ch-4 sp, ch 1, sl st in center tr of next free petal of previous Flower, ch 1, (tr, ch 2, sc) in same ch-4 sp, join in first sc. Fasten off.

7th Flower
