Spiderweb Scarf
PATTERN NOTES
Motifs are joined together with a join-as-you-go technique with right side of pieces facing at all times. Do not allow Motifs to twist or curl as work progresses. Refer to Placement Diagram for joining sequence. Weave in loose ends as work progresses. Optional: Place marker on indicated stitch to indicate top of Motif so piece is oriented correctly for joining corners. Join with slip stitch as indicated unless otherwise stated.
SPECIAL STITCHES
Cluster (cl): Yo, insert hook in indicated sp, pull up a lp, yo, draw through 2 lps on hook (2 lps on
hook), [yo, insert hook in same st, pull up a lp, yo, draw through 2 lps] twice (4 lps on hook), yo, draw through all 4 lps on hook.
Double cluster corner (2-cl corner): ( Cl— see Special Stitches, ch 5, cl) in indicated sp. Double cluster corner join
(2-cl corner join): (Cl, ch 2, sl st in center ch of 2-cl corner of previous or adjacent Motif, ch 2, cl) in indicated sp. Chain-5 join (ch-5 join): Ch 2, sl st in 3rd ch of next ch-5 sp of previous or adjacent Motif, ch 2.

Rnd 1 (RS): Ch 6, join (see Pattern Notes) in beg ch to form a ring, ch 1, 12 sc in ring, join in beg sc. (12 sc) Rnd 2: [Ch 12, sl st in next sc] around. (12 ch-12 sps) Rnd 3 (no join): Sl st in first 6 chs of first ch-12 sp, ch 1, sc in same sp, place marker (see Pattern Notes) on last st made, ch 5, sc in next ch-12 sp, ch 5, 2-cl corner (see Special Stitches) in next ch-12 sp, [(ch 5, sc) in each of next 2 ch-12 sps, ch 5, 2-cl corner in next ch-12 sp] 3 times, ch 5, join in beg sc.
