PATTERN NOTES
Join with slip stitch as indicated unless otherwise stated. Chain-4 at beginning of round counts as first treble crochet unless otherwise stated. When cutting yarn and changing colors, work next round with new color, catching the tail of previous color to weave it in under a few stitches. Weave in loose ends as work progresses. Chain-3 at beginning of row or round counts as first double crochet unless otherwise stated.
COASTER Make 3. COLOR OPTIONS
Use colors in the following order.
Version 1: Cream, cucumber, lime green, cream

Rnd 2: Ch 1, sc in same st as join, sc in each of next 3 tr, (2 sc, ch 3, 2 sc) in next ch-4 sp, *sc in each of next 4 tr, (2 sc, ch 3, 2 sc) in next ch-4 sp, rep from * 2 times, join in first ch. Fasten off. (8 sc along each side)
Rnd 3: With 2nd color, join in any corner ch-3 sp, ch 3 (see Pattern
Notes), *dc in each of next 8 sc, (dc, ch 3, dc) in next corner sp, rep from * 2 times, dc in each of next 8 sc, dc in last corner sp, ch 3, join in top of beg ch-3. Fasten off. (10 dc along each side)
Rnd 4: With 3rd color, join in any corner ch-3 sp, ch 1, 2 sc in same sp, *sc in each of next 10 dc, (2 sc, ch 3, 2 sc) in next corner sp, rep from * 2 times, sc in each of next 10 dc, 2 sc in last corner sp, ch 3, join in first ch. Fasten off. (14 sc along each side)
Rnd 5: With 4th color, join in any corner ch-3 sp, ch 1, work
reverse sc (see Stitch Guide) in each st around and 2 reverse sc in each corner sp, join in first ch. Fasten off.
TABLE MAT CONNECTED SQUARE
Make 3: 1 in each Color Option. Rnds 1–3: Work rnds 1–3 of Coaster.
Rnd 4: With 3rd color, join in any corner ch-3 sp, ch 1, 2 sc in the same sp, *sc in each of next 10 dc, 4 sc in next corner sp, rep from * 2 times, sc in each of next 10 dc, 2 sc in last corner sp, join in first ch. Fasten off. (56 sc around) Sew Squares tog to make strip.
LACEWORK
Work across long edge of strip.
Row 1 (RS): Now working in rows, with cream and RS facing, join in corner sp of strip, ch 1, sc in same corner sp, work 44 sc evenly (approximately 15 sc across side of each square) across to next corner,
turn. (45 sc)
Row 2 (WS): Ch 3 (see Pattern
Notes), *dc in next sc, ch 1, sk next sc, rep from * across to last 2 sc, dc in each of last 2 sc, turn.
Row 3: Ch 3, dc in next dc, *ch 1, sk next ch sp, dc in each of next 7 sts, rep from * across to last ch sp, ch 1, sk ch sp, dc in next dc, dc in turning ch, turn.
Row 4: Ch 3, dc in next dc, *ch 1, sk next ch sp, dc in each of next 3 dc, ch 1, sk next dc, dc in each of next 3 dc, rep from * across to last ch sp, ch 1, sk next ch sp, dc in next dc, dc in turning ch, turn. Row 5: Rep row 3. Row 6: Ch 3, *dc in next dc, ch 1, sk next st, rep from * across to last 2 sts, dc in next dc, dc in turning ch, turn. [Rep rows 3–6] 5 more times.
Next row: Ch 1, sc in each st across. Last rnd: Now working in rnds, change color to cucumber, reverse
sc in each st along short sides, and along longer sides work alternating 1 or 2 reverse sc in side of each dc, join in first sc. Fasten off.
NAPKIN RING
Rnds 1 & 2: With lime green, work rnds 1 and 2 of Coaster.
Rnd 3: With cucumber, join in any corner ch-3 sp, ch 1, * reverse sc in each st across to next corner sp, reverse sc in sp, ch 30, 3 dc in 3rd ch from hook, ch 3, sl st in same ch as dc, sl st in each ch back to corner sp, reverse sc in sp, reverse sc in each st across to next corner sp, 2 reverse sc in sp, rep from *, join in first ch. Fasten off.
