Crochet World

If you are like most crocheters one of the first things you learned to make after mastering the basics was a granny square motif.

-

Always a perennial favorite, the granny square is often the first motif we fall in love with, but certainly not our last. No matter what your skill level, or how many motif projects you have made, most crocheters cannot stop themselves from trying a new motif pattern!

In this issue you’ll find a wonderful variety of motifs in all shapes and sizes. We’ve included projects for home, fashion accessories, some beautiful garments and even a few projects to make for those special young people in your life.

In the Join As You Go section, we’ve included projects in which the motifs are built one upon the other, making the project nearly complete when you are done crocheting the motifs. In the Crochet One & Repeat section, you’ll find projects that use the same motif design for the entire project, sometimes joined as you go and other times sewn together at the end. The Crochet Now, Join Later section includes projects in which all the motifs are made first and then joined together later, making these projects ideal for travel or when you have a few moments to crochet. And finally, there’s a section that features Motifs at a Minimum with projects that require just a few motifs yet still produce stunning results.

With over 35 projects to choose from, I am sure you’ll spend many happy hours crocheting new-to-you motif designs as well as all your favorites too!

Happy Crocheting!
