PATTERN NOTES

In using numerous color combinations on Blocks, it is suggested to change colors only on rounds 1–6 and rounds 9 and 10, keeping black and white as instructed on remaining rounds for contrast. Join with slip stitch as indicated unless otherwise stated. Chain-3 at beginning round counts as first double crochet unless otherwise stated. Chain-4 at beginning of round counts as first half double crochet and chain-2 unless otherwise stated. Chain-2 at beginning of round counts as first half double crochet unless otherwise stated.

SPECIAL STITCHES

Popcorn (pc): 4 dc as indicated in instructions, drop lp from hook, insert hook in first dc of group, pull dropped lp through st.
