PATTERN NOTES

Refer to Stitch Diagram as needed. Motifs are made and assembled first with first row of Cardigan worked along edge of Motifs in 1 piece, splitting for Front and Back panels and seamed at the shoulders. Border is added after assembly. Make 11 [12, 13, 13]. With pink, ch 4, join to form ring. Rnd 1 (RS): Beg cl (see Special Stitches) in ring, ch 2, [ cl (see Special Stitches) in ring, ch 2] 5 times, join (see Pattern Notes) in top of beg-cl. Fasten off. (6 cls, 6 ch-2 sps)

Rnd 2: With RS facing and with white, join with sc in any ch-2 sp, 2 sc in same sp, ch 1, (3 sc, ch 2, 3 sc) in next ch-2 sp, mark ch-2 sp with stitch marker, ch 1, (3 sc, ch 2, 3 sc) in next ch-2 sp, ch 1, 3 sc in next ch-2 sp, ch 1, (3 sc, ch 2, 3 sc, ch 1) in each of next 2 ch-2 sps, join in beg sc. Fasten off. (30 sc, 6 ch-1 sps)
