• Rozetti Yarn Lumen Multi light (DK) weight cotton/ viscose yarn (13/4 oz/ 134 yds/50g per ball): 4 balls #205 xenon • Size I/9/5.5mm Tunisian crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge • Tapestry needle

GAUGE

14 extended Tunisian knit sts = 4 inches and 7 rows = 4 inches after blocking

PATTERN NOTES

Weave in loose ends as work progresses. In Tunisian crochet the first loop on hook counts as first stitch. Chain-1 at beginning of each row is to bring this first stitch up to the height of an extended Tunisian knit stitch. At starting chains, the loop on hook and the first chain skipped count as an extended Tunisian knit stitch.

SPECIAL STITCHES

Extended Tunisian knit stitch (ETKS): Insert hook from front to back between vertical bars of next st, yo, draw up a lp, ch 1. When working last st of

the row, insert hook under both vertical strands, yo, draw up lp, ch 1. Work loops off hook: Ch 1, [yo, draw through 2 lps on hook] rep until 1 lp rem on hook. Last lp on hook counts as first lp of next row. Joining work loops off hook: Insert hook in indicated st, yo, draw up lp, [yo, draw through 2 lps on hook] rep until 1 lp rem on hook. Last lp on hook counts as first lp of next row.

Clones knot: [Yo, swing hook under ch from front to back, catch yarn and draw up lp to front] 3 times, yo, draw through 7 lps on hook, ch 1 to close knot.
