• Premier Yarns Deborah Norville Everyday Baby light (DK) weight acrylic yarn (4 oz/ 308 yds/100g per skein): 2 skeins #101-03 pink 1 skein #101-01 white • Size G/6/4mm crochet hook or

size needed to obtain gauge • Tapestry needle • 1/2-inch buttons: 4 • Stitch markers

GAUGE

[Shell] 7 times = 4 inches

PATTERN NOTES

Weave in loose ends as work progresses. Chain 2 at beginning of row does not count as first half double crochet. Join with slip stitch as indicated unless otherwise stated. Chain-4 loops along armhole edges are for attaching sleeves. Sleeve decreases alternate on either side of center joining. Use stitch markers to mark decrease stitch as a reminder to skip that stitch on the following round.

SPECIAL STITCHES

Shell: (Sc, ch 3, sc) in indicated st or sp. Corner decrease (corner dec): Insert hook in sc before next marked st, draw up lp, sk marked st, insert hook in sc after marked st, draw up a lp (3 lps on

hook), yo, draw through all lps on hook. Move stitch marker to decreased st made. Single crochet join (sc join): Place slip knot (see illustrati­on on page 26) on hook, insert hook in indicated st or sp, yo, draw up a lp, yo, draw through 2 lps on hook.
