Plaid Jacket

PATTERN NOTES

Jacket is worked in 1 piece from lower edge to armholes, then fronts and back are worked separately. Throughout all shaping, keep first and last stitch of each row a plain single crochet (not a Long single crochet or back loop single crochet). Weave in loose ends as work progresses. Change colors at end of each wrong-side row throughout pattern stitch as follows: Work to last stitch of row, insert hook in last stitch, yarn over, draw loop through, yarn over with next color and draw through both loops on hook. Do not fasten off; carry unused color loosely up edge of work.
