MATERIALS

• Aunt Lydia’s Classic Crochet Size 10 crochet cotton (350 yds per ball): 50 yds each #424 light peach

and #419 ecru • Size 7/1.65mm steel crochet hook • Tapestry needle • 9 x 14mm oval bead • 8mm jump ring • 6 x 12mm lobster-claw clasp

GAUGE

Center = 1 inch across Gauge is not critical for this project.

PATTERN NOTES

Weave in loose ends as work progresses. Join with slip stitch as indicated unless otherwise stated. Chain-2 at beginning of row counts as first half double crochet unless otherwise stated.

BRACELET CENTER

Rnd 1 (RS): With light peach form a slip ring (see illustrati­on), ch 1, 10 hdc in ring, join

(see Pattern Notes) in first hdc, draw loose end of slip ring tightly to close opening, do not turn. (10 hdc)

Rnd 2: Ch 1, [hdc in each of next 4 sts, ch 1, in next st work (hdc, dc, hdc), ch 1] twice, join in beg hdc, do not turn. (12 hdc, 2 dc, 4 ch-1 sps)

Rnd 3: Ch 1, [sc in each of next 4 sts, 2 sc in next ch-1 sp, sc in next st, (hdc, ch 1, hdc) in next dc, sc in next st, 2 sc in ch-1 sp] twice, join in beg sc, do not turn.

Fasten off light peach. (20 sc, 4 hdc, 2 ch-1 sps)

Rnd 4 (RS): Join ecru in ch-1 sp, ch 1, [(hdc, ch 1, hdc) in ch-1 sp, sc in each st across to next ch-1 sp] twice, join in beg hdc. Fasten off. (24 sc, 4 hdc, 2 ch-1 sps)

POINT

Make 2.

Row 1 (RS): Join light peach in first sc before ch-1 sp, sk next hdc, [hdc, ch 1, (dc, ch 1) 3 times, hdc] in next ch-1 sp, sk next hdc, sl st in next sc. Fasten off.

Row 2: Join ecru in last unworked sc on Center before Point, sc in each of next 4 sts of Point, (hdc, ch 2, hdc) in next dc, sc in each of next 4 sts, sl st
