Row 3: Ch 4, dc in first dc, ch 2, dc in next dc, ch 2, dc in last dc, turn. (3 dc, 2 ch-2 sps, 1 ch-4 sp) Rows 4–21: [Rep rows 2 and 3] 9 times. Fasten off.
BORDER
First corner: With WS of bottom right corner facing, join (see Pattern Notes) violet in first ch-4 sp, (2 sc, ch 2, 2 sc) in same sp, turn, ch 4, sl st in first sc, ch 4, sl st in next sc, (sc, picot— see Special Stitch, sc) in ch-2 sp, [ch 4, sl st in next sc] twice.
Long edge: [Ch 3, picot, ch 3, sc in next ch-4 sp] 9 times, ch 3, picot, ch 3.
