• Sizes 7/4.5mm and J/10/6mm crochet hooks or sizes needed to obtain gauge
• Tapestry needle
GAUGE
With size 7 hook: 10 dc = 3 inches; 7 rows = 4 inches
PATTERN NOTES

BEANIE BODY
Rnd 1 (RS): With mauve and size 7 hook, ch 20, join in first ch to create a ring, ch 2 (see Pattern Notes), dc in each ch around, join (see Pattern Notes) in first dc. (20 dc)
Rnd 2: Ch 2, dc in first st, 2 dc in next st, *dc in next st, 2 dc in next st, rep from * around, join in first dc. (30 dc)
Rnd 3: Ch 2, dc in first 2 sts, 2 dc in next st, *dc in next 2 sts, 2 dc in next st, rep from * around, join in first dc. (40 dc)
Rnd 4: Ch 2, dc in first 3 sts, 2 dc in next st, *dc in next 3 sts, 2 dc in next st, rep from * around, join in first dc. (50 dc)
