48 inches wide x 62 inches long

MATERIALS

• Caron One Pound medium (worsted) weight acrylic yarn (16 oz/812 yds/

454g per skein):

4 skeins #0611 ocean

• Size J/10/6mm crochet hook or

size needed to obtain gauge • Tapestry needle

GAUGE

3 V-sts and 3 fpdc = 3 inches; 5 rows = 2 inches

PATTERN NOTES

Weave in loose ends as work progresses.

Chain-2 at beginning of row counts as first half double crochet unless otherwise stated.

When instructed to work a stitch “in next V-st,” work indicated stitch between first and 2nd half double crochet of next V-stitch. Join with slip stitch as indicated unless otherwise stated.

SPECIAL STITCHES

V-stitch (V-st): 2 hdc in indicated st or sp.

Single crochet join (sc join):

Place a slip knot on hook, insert hook in indicated st, yo and draw up a lp, yo and pull through both lps on hook.

THROW

Row 1 (RS): Ch 156, sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across, turn. (155 sc)

Row 2: Ch 2 (see Pattern Notes), *hdc in each of next 3 sts**, sk next st, ( V-st— see Special

Row 3: Ch 2, * fpdc (see Stitch Guide) around each of next 3 sts**, V-st in each of next 3 V-sts (see Pattern Notes), rep from * across, ending last rep at **, hdc in last st, turn. Rows 11–13: Rep rows 3–5. Rows 14–149: (Rep rows 6–13) 17 times.

Row 150: Ch 1, sc in each st across, fasten off. (155 sc)

BORDER

Rnd 1: With RS facing and working in ends of rows, sc join
