Rnd 3: With RS facing outward, holding 1 inner and 1 outer ear sections tog, continuing with coffee sc through front lps (see

Stitch Guide) of both inner and outer sections of ear around, sl st in next st, leaving a 12-inch length, fasten off. (18 sc)

MUZZLE

Rnd 1: With size G hook and 1 strand of café latte, ch 5, join in first ch to form a ring, 9 sc in ring, place marker. (9 sc)

Thread a 24-inch length of black on tapestry needle. For nose, embroider a triangular shape with straight stitches (see

illustrati­on) over center of muzzle, do not fasten off, embroider 2 sts in “V” shape

for mouth centered below nose, knot, fasten off.

ASSEMBLY

Using photo as a guide, sew ears to rnd 19 of bowl, leaving 6 sts between ears.

Sew muzzle to front, centered between ears.

Sew button eyes to front of bowl on each side of muzzle.

RACCOON BOWL Bottom

Rnd 1: With size H hook and 2 strands of gray heather held tog, form a slip ring (see illustra

tion), 9 sc in ring, place stitch marker, do not join (see Pattern Notes). (9 sc)

Rnd 8: Working in back lps (see Stitch Guide), sc in each st around. (63 sc)

Rnd 9: Sc in each sc around. Rnd 10: [Sc in each of next 5 sc, sc dec (see Stitch Guide) in next 2 sc] around. (54 sc) Rnds 11 & 12: Sc in each sc around. At the end of rnd 12, change color (see Stitch Guide) to 2 strands of soft white.
