DOUBLE DUTY

In a hurry to make hamburgers recently, I realized the patties were still frozen. I remembered placing frozen meat on an inverted cast-iron skillet (that's been wrapped in plastic) will help it to thaw quickly. I decided to speed up the thawing process by placing another wrapped skillet on top of the patties. This double-decker treatment had supper on the table in no time.
