Here's a sampling of family-friendly in-person and virtual Bay Area shows, concerts, activities and other events over the next several weeks. `Disaster! The Musical': May 13-15, 19-22, 27-29, June 2-5, 29 N. San Pedro St, Ste. 200, San Jose. It's 1979, and New York's hottest A-listers are lining up for the opening of a floating casino and discotheque. Bay Area Children's Theatre Creativity Corner: This virtual “playborhood” offers kids stories that unfold via video, plus follow-up activities they can do on their own, inspired by the make-believe they've seen.
