VILLAGE OF ANSELMO Minute Record

September 14th, 2021 A meeting of the Chairman and the Board of Trustees of the Village of Anselmo, NE was convened in open and public session according to the Open Meeting Act, at 6:00pm in the Winters Public Library. Tanyor Gilligan, Chairman, called the meeting to order and indicated where the Open Meeting Act is posted. Present: Tanyor Gilligan, Terry Haskell, Ryan Miller, Bob Blakely, Tammy Burnett (clerk) & Ben McCaslin (water/sewer operator). Absent: Dan Burnett. Guests: none

R. Miller made Motion to waive readings and approve the August 10th & 11th, minutes. B. Blakely seconded the motion. Roll Call vote: Ayes: Gilligan, Haskell, Miller and Blakely. Nays: none. Motion carried.

Public hearing was opened in regard to budget. No one was in attendance of meeting for budget proposed. Blakely motioned that Board approve the 1% additional allowable increase for restricted funds authority, Miller seconded motion. Roll call vote: Ayes: Gilligan, Blakely, Haskell and Miller. Nays: None. Motion carried. Public hearing closed. All budget forms and documents to be forwarded to State Auditor’s Office and Custer County Clerk by September 20th, 2021.

Public hearing opened in conjunction with setting property tax. Resolution read in its entirety setting the property tax at an amount different than the previous year. Tax request for 2021/2022 budget year is 24,809.00. Blakely motioned that said Resolution be passed and Tanyor Gilligan as Village Board Chairman be authorized to sign. Miller seconded motion. Roll call vote: Ayes: Blakely, Miller, Haskell and Gilligan. Nays: None. Motion carried. Public hearing closed. Resolution to be submitted with Budget documents.
