VILLAGE OF ANSLEY Proceeding­s September 1, 2021

A special meeting of the Chairperso­n and Board of Trustees of the Village of Ansley was held in the Municipal Auditorium on September 1, 2021, at 6:30 p.m. Present were Hogg, Rehfeld, Henry and Fecht. ABSENT was Mills. The Clerk was also present. Notice of this meeting was by posting in three (3) public places as required by law and the agenda was communicat­ed in advance. All proceeding­s hereafter shown were taken while the convened meeting was open to the public. Meeting called to order at 6:34 p.m.; Pledge of Allegiance recited; compliance with open meeting act verified.

A board workshop to review the proposed 2021-2022 budget was held. Line items for revenues and expenses were reviewed by fund with the Budget Category Report; proposed capital projects in each department were discussed;

budget document with lid schedule and computatio­n were highlighte­d along with the report of interlocal agreements;

the levy request for next year will be slightly lower than this year. General discussion was held with no recommenda­tions from the Board for changes. The budget hearing will be September 15th at 6:30 p.m. and at the conclusion a special hearing will be held to set the final tax levy request.

Trustee Rehfeld moved to approve the increase of total restricted funds authority by the additional 1% for the FY 2021-2022 budget. Henry seconded; 4 ayes; 1 absent; motion carried.

Trustee Henry moved to approve the sale of the Village’s 2007 Peterbilt trash truck to Refuse Truck Sales of Adams, Nebraska, for $45,000 with the transactio­n to be completed at the time the Village receives delivery of the new trash truck thus avoiding any interrupti­on in service. Hogg seconded; 4 ayes; 1 absent; motion carried.

No further business and meeting adjourned at 7:55 p.m.
