Custer County Chief

Absent: Rod Amsberry, Pete Cunningham, Present: Jaimee Bailey, Derek Clay, Tim Loy, Danielle Ostrand.Present: Rod Amsberry. Others in attendance were Gordon Goodman, Heidi Fessler, Jeanne Rapp, and Troy Schirmer.

Notice of the meeting was given in advance by posting in five (5) public places: Flatwater Bank, the

Custer County Chief, the Post Office, and the Ansley Public School and on the

Ansley Public School website at ansleynebr­aska.org. Availabili­ty of the agenda

was communicat­ed in advance thereof to the Board President and Board members of this meeting. All proceeding­s hereafter shown were taken while the convened meeting was open to the public.

The Pledge of Allegiance was recited by all present.

Derek Clay moved and Tim Loy seconded to approve the Motion to excuse

Pete Cunningham and Rod Amsberry from the November 15, 2021 meeting.. This motion passed.

meeting; approve the minutes from the October 18, 2021 facilities meeting; approve the minutes of the

November 9, 2021 facilities meeting; approve the minutes of the November

10, 2021 policy committee meeting; approve the contract for Brenda Coker as Assistant Cook.. This motion passed.

Mr. Goodman reminded the board members to complete the Superinten­dent Evaluation form and meet with him to review. The board discussed transporta­tion to and from the Nebraska State School Board

Associatio­n meeting in Omaha.

Rod Amsberry entered the meeting at 5:08pm.

Mr. Schirmer gave a review of the Fall sports season and updated the board on the one-act season and the start of the winter sports season.

Tim Loy moved and Danielle Ostrand seconded

to approve the Motion to approve the November 15

2021 claims in the amount of $65,927.85.. This motion passed.

included updates on quarter ending 10/15/2021, red ribbon week and food drive, FFA National Convention, Honor Roll celebratio­n, 11th graders Pre-ACT , Ansley Pride pep rally, 9-10 grades career day, FFA District livestock judging, Veterans Day, the Rotary Trafficing trailer, MAPS/NSCAS testing and scores.

Mr. Goodman presented his Superinten­dent report which included updates on the proposal from Tim Dean of Paulsen's, South Gym banners and completion of the annual audit.

The board meeting adjourned at 6:20pm.

CONCISE SUMMARY OF THE NOVEMBER 15, 2021 MEETING OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OF BROKEN BOW PUBLIC SCHOOLS

The meeting was convened at 7:30 PM in the Board Room at the Broken Bow Public Schools, 323 N 7th Ave,

Broken Bow, NE. The following Board members were present: Tim Chancellor, Tom Osmond, Amy Staples and Pam Holcomb. Excused absent members JB Atkins and Mary Shaw. The board approved the minutes and financial report as presented. The complete board minutes are available in the

The November 8, 2021 regular meeting of the AnselmoMer­na Board of Education was called to order at 7:00 PM by Michelle Miller, Board President. Administra­tors present included Superinten­dent Dr. Logan Lightfoot, and PK-12 Principal Mr. Matt Huseman. Also present was Business Manager Jamie Porter and Activities Director Spencer Goodman.

Dr. Lightfoot mentioned the volleyball & football teams in their successful seasons. Also a big thank you to Kinkaider's in Lincoln for hosting a reception following the volleyball game in Lincoln. Michelle mentioned it was nice that the school hosted all the fun activities for athletes of fall sports. Spencer gave a big thanks to all the extra efforts of the staff for all their help with postseason games.

No objection was made to approve the consent agenda, which consisted of minutes from the October 13, 2021 regular meeting, the November claims and the agenda for the evening.

The board voted to move into Closed Session at 7:45 pm. The Board moved out of Closed Session at 7:58 pm. Only staff matters were discussed during closed session.

President Miller thanked everyone in attendance and declared the meeting adjourned at 8:00 PM. The next regular

meeting will be December 13, 2021. The agenda is a continuous one and is available for examinatio­n during regular hours at the Office of Superinten­dent. Request for items to be included on the agenda may be placed with the Superinten­dent.
