THE GAME: The Angels beat the Dodgers, 4-0, on Tuesday night at Camelback Ranch in Glendale, Ariz., winning their sixth consecutiv­e Cactus League game. The Dodgers went into the game leading MLB in nearly every offensive stat in spring play but managed just seven hits.

Angels righthande­r Chase Silseth did not allow a run in 2 1/3 innings. He had been scheduled for three innings, but his pitch count got too high after 26 pitches in the first . ... Right-hander Victor Mederos worked three scoreless innings. He hasn't allowed a run in six innings this spring, with nine strikeouts and two walks . ... Dodgers right-hander Bobby Miller pitched three scoreless innings in his second spring start.

The Angels' Mike Trout singled and walked. He also stole his first base of the spring. Trout is 3 for 18with eight strikeouts and one walk this spring . ... Six of the Dodgers' hits were singles. Jason Heyward had two. Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman, Austin Gauthier and Chris Okey had one each. Drew Avans had a double. Shohei Ohtani had reached base in seven consecutiv­e plate appearance­s before going 0 for 3 with a pair of strikeouts against his former team.

Silseth bounced a pickoff throw to first base and the ball got past Schanuel, allowing Betts to advance to second.
