Here’s who made all-state
The winter sports season brought plenty of fast times and smiles for the girls swimmers of Boulder County and its surrounding areas, and 14 ladies earned nods for their hard work through CHSAA’S all-state team.
Both of the Bocopreps swimmers of the year hailed from Class 4A with Niwot’s Izzy Fay, the Timescall and CHSAA diver of the year, nabbing the gold in the 1-meter dive. She scored a 538.30 in the event, beating out Windsor’s Reagan Annable by 40 points.
Monarch’s Eliza Lennox took home golds in both the 50-yard freestyle and the 100-yard freestyle, winning with times of 23.41 seconds and 51.16 seconds. She was named the Daily Camera swimmer of the year.
Both made made CHSAA’S first team in 4A.
Up in 5A, Legacy’s Isabella Forsman earned the only local first-team honor by taking home the gold in the 100 butterfly, a race in which she edged out Fairview’s Amelia Mason with a 54.81 mark. That meant that Mason, naturally, claimed the second team bid in the same event (55.15).

long-haul event, where she finished second place and second team in the 500 freestyle (4:53.78).
First team in 4A didn’t just contain itself to Fay and Lennox. Silver Creek’s Leslie Broz joined Fay toward the top of the diving list, where she secured bronze thanks to a 483.10 score. Monarch’s Audrey Shambo, who won the 100 breaststroke (1:04.34), naturally joined the list as well.
Monarch raked in three more positions on second team thanks to a couple of relays. Gwyneth Christensen and Ida Bodizs claimed second in the 200 medley relay (1:47.88) alongside Lennox and Shambo, as Christensen, Shambo, Lennox and Avery Zerwekh

Reardon all achieved a similar feat in the 400 free relay (3:37.21).
Silver Creek’s Savannah Wolf joined the Raptors’ illustrious diving list on second team after completing her state performance with a 445.25, good for seventh place. Niwot’s Charlotte Heuer added her name to the roster with second in the 100 breaststroke (1:07.29). Broomfield’s Ridley Hagerman rounded out the local 4A representation thanks to her runnerup finish in the 500 free (4:44.75).
In 3A, Holy Family’s Lorelai Frauenfelder made her way onto second team in the 50 free (second, 24.03) and 100 free (second, 52.59).
