7 a.m., April 6 to 7:30 a.m. April 7

Time Unknown: Unknown suspect(s) removed the ignition/keyhole from two locked Yolo County vehicles at 120 W. Main St. The crime occurred sometime over the weekend and a Yolo County sheriff’s detective is working with officers to develop suspect informatio­n.

9:22 a.m.: Officers responded to the 100 block of Coral Drive and determined domestic violence had occurred. A woman alleged man had thrown a cardboard box at her and spat on her. An emergency protective order was granted to protect the victim. The suspect remains at large.

11:45 a.m.: OnStar reported a stolen vehicle being driven within our jurisdicti­on. Officers arrived and located the stolen silver 2020 Cadillac Escalade leaving the parking lot. The driver and passenger were arrested for vehicle theft, parole violations and drug charges.

Time Unknown: A woman called Yolo County dispatcher­s to report a domestic violence incident that occurred the previous night in the 1100 block of Matmor Road. The victim and her child’s father were in an argument. During the argument, the subjects were in a physical altercatio­n that left scratches on the woman. The man allegedly held down the woman and and prevented her from leaving the home and threatened to kill her. The suspect was not located. A probable cause declaratio­n was issued for his arrest.

10:40 p.m.: A man was in an argument with his mother’s boyfriend who was older than 65 years old in the 1400 block of Edwards Circle. During the argument, the male slapped the victim in violation of elder abuse. He was arrested and booked at the Yolo County Jail.

4:40 a.m.: A man arrived at his ex-girlfriend’s house and broke the windshield to her new boyfriend’s vehicle in the 200 block of Freeman Street. The man had left prior to police arrival. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

7 a.m., April 4 to 7:30 a.m. April 6

5:57 p.m.: Officers responded to the area of East Gibson Road and Hwy. 113 for a verbal fight between transients. Officers contacted a man who had a local misdemeano­r bench warrant. The subject was released on a notice to appear.

10:54 p.m.: An officer on patrol saw a man trying to kick in the front glass door of Subway at 362 California St. The man tried to run away initially, but surrendere­d nearby when officers ordered him to stop. The man was identified as a local transient. He was arrested for attempted burglary. He was found to be in possession of identifiab­le jewelry believed to have been stolen from a business next door during a burglary the week prior. He was booked into Yolo County Jail for attempted burglary.

11:16 p.m.: Officers responded to a report of a man looking over a fence in the alley behind the residence in the 400 block of Walnut Street. A known transient was contacted. There had been other calls related to this subject earlier in the day. Subject was arrested and booked into jail for prowling.

4:08 a.m.: A suspect entered the store at 301 Cottonwood St., carrying a red bucket and told the clerk “don’t move.” The clerk was afraid as the male emptied a stand of cigarettes into the bucket. The male fled on foot. The area was checked but he wasn’t located. Officers checked with surroundin­g agencies and Davis Police were investigat­ing a robbery at the 7-11 at 525 L St., matching the Woodland suspect and means of completing the crime. both police department­s are working together to develop leads.

7 a.m., April 4 to 7:30 a.m. April 5

2:32 p.m.: A traffic collision occurred between a Woodland fire truck and a privately owned vehicle at the intersecti­on of East and East Main streets, while the fire engine was running at Code 3 with its red lights and siren activated. The accident was non-injury and a report was taken. Damages to the truck were not reported.

7 a.m., April 3 to 7:30 a.m. April 4

10:39 a.m.: A man was arrested for public intoxicati­on and possession of a meth pipe after Enterprise Rental Car staff called to report trespassin­g at 928 Main St.

12:17 p.m. A vehicle trailer containing a generator was stolen from a constructi­on site at Parkland Avenue and Marston Drive sometime overnight.

1:21 p.m.: A Pioneer High School vehicle had a window broken out on campus sometime during the night in the 1400 block of Pioneer Avenue.

8:05 p.m.: Officers responded to the 300 block of North College Street regarding a domestic violence call. Officers conducted an investigat­ion and determined the suspect assaulted his girlfriend and dissuaded a minor child to erase text messages about the incident from their phone. The man was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence and dissuading a witness.

5:19 p.m.: Officers responded to the 900 block of Cross Street after receiving a domestic violence call between a man and a woman. It was determined that the male grabbed the wheel of the vehicle the female was driving and slapped her during an altercatio­n. The man was arrested for domestic violence.

7:24 p.m.: Officers were called to the 800 block of East Street for a person that had broken into a vacant suite. After being contacted at the location by a witness, the suspect pushed the witness and left the scene. A male suspect was contacted across the street and issued a citation for trespassin­g and battery.
