Jose Melchor December 7, 1950 - April 27, 2021 Knights Landing, CA

Jose Melchor passed unexpectedly on April 27, 2021. He was a loving, kind and considerate husband, father to four boys and grandfather. His greatest joy was his family and friends. He loved to work growing rice and loved to follow his favorite Chivas soccer team. Jose passed as he was performing the work he loved to do out in the fields near his home in Knights Landing. We know he is in heaven and watching over us. He was preceded in death by his father, Elpidio Melchor Medrano and his mother, Angelina Nogal. He is survived by his son, Armando and his wife Chandra; Bernardo and his wife Clarissa, their son, Aiden; Hector and his wife Corina, their children, Sammy, Juliana, and Sofia; and his eldest son, Octavio. Jose is also survived by his cousins in México, Ursulo, Carmela, Nazaria, Salome, Luz, Ofracia, Basilia, Elena, Joel, Benjamin, Beto, Micaela, Paty, Luis, Rosa, Alejandro, Sofia, Mary, Gory, Mame, Maurilio, Crecensio, Juan, Felicitas, Susana, Socorro, and Esther; sisters-in-law, Irene, Maria de los Angeles, Margarita, Magdalena, her husband Aurelio; and brothers-in-law, Jose “Chon” Flores, Carlos, Jorge and Jose “Pepino” Flores. The rosary will be on May 11, 2021 at 6 p.m. at The Chapel of Twin Cities, 715 Shasta St, Yuba City, CA 95991. The mass will be on May 12, at 10 a.m. at St. Isidore Catholic Church, 222 Clark Ave, Yuba City, CA 95991. The funeral will be on May 12, at the Knights Landing Cemetery at 12:15 p.m., located at 10080-10094 Co Hwy E8, Woodland, CA 95776.
