At 96 years old, Mavis Timothy passed away peacefully in her home in Woodland, CA on Thursday, September 30, 2021. Mavis was born May 17, 1925 in Woodland, CA, the first of six children to Alfred and Leona (Reiff) Blickle. They lived in Woodland their entire 68 years of marriage, until Bob passed away in 2012. After raising six children, Mavis and Bob enjoyed several travel trailer trips across the United States with Don and Dot Branigan and many fishing trips with Ivan and Betsy Baccei. The Timothy cabin in South Lake Tahoe was a very special place enjoyed by Bob and Mavis with their family. Many knew her as Aunt Sis, Mom or latest, GG (short for Great Grandma.) Her family was her everything. Mavis was known for her chocolate chip cookies and her daily 5 pm cocktail hour. She was a lifelong member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
