Commercial Burglary: The Constructi­on Foreman called police to report that items were stolen from their constructi­on trailer after it was left unlocked over the weekend on East St. and Sports Park Dr. Scott reported that four Lenovo laptop computers and two Apple iPads were stolen. There was no video surveillan­ce. A report was taken.

Possession of a Stolen Vehicle: An officer located an occupied stolen vehicle parked at WalMart on Oct. 12at 11:40 p.m. The occupant, Daniel Slover, 27, of Woodland was arrested for being in possession of the stolen vehicle. The vehicle was stolen from Woodland earlier in the month.

Multiple Warrant Arrest: On Oct. 13 at 11:20 a.m., HOST went out to contact individual­s in the transient camps behind California Market on East Main St. One of the subjects contacted was identified as Christian Aguilara, 27, of Woodland. Aguilara had numerous confirmed arrest warrants, three of which were no bails. Aguilara tried to flee from the officer on scene, who requested assistance as Aguilara was putting himself in jeopardy. Officers were able to direct Aguilara away from traffic. He was eventually taken into custody without further incident.

Hit and Run/Vehicle vs Ped: A victim was struck while walking across the street at Thomas St. and E Gum Ave. on Oct. 14at 7:10p.m. The suspect vehicle is possibly a white Yukon or Suburban fled the scene. The victim received potentiall­y life-threatenin­g injuries. The traffic unit responded and took over the investigat­ion.

HOST

HOST has been contacting other police department­s regarding their homeless outreach programs to learn how they operate.

The shelter has been closed due to a COVID-19 outbreak.

HOST made 61 contacts, offered services to 12 of them of which three accepted services. There were 12 camps located and zero camps cleaned up. There were two businesses contacted, 30 downtown patrols and two arrests made.
