Shots fired/Vandalism:

On Nov. 12 at 10:52 p.m. officers responded to a report of shots fired at the 900 block of North Street. Witnesses stated that suspects from a dark sedan broke the windshield of a parked vehicle. The suspects drove away from the location. Once they were a block away, the passenger fired shots into the air.

Residentia­l Burglary: The victim called police on Nov. 14 at 9:59 a.m reporting that his residence located at 907 Bourn Drive was broken into. The victim was able to take a picture of the suspect. The officer was able to develop informatio­n on a suspect. At 5:40 p.m. officers located Isaac Gonzalez, a 19-year-old Woodland resident, who was arrested for the above burglary and booked at Yolo County Jail. Disorderly Conduct: Officers received a report on Nov. 14 at around 2:53 p.m. of a subject grabbing a female who had exited a store at Thomas and East Main Streets. A short time later, an additional report of the same male entering a residence and kissing a female resident was reported in the 400 block of Thomas St. Officers located the subject, Shaun Johnson a 25-yearold Winters resident. The first victim did not want to pursue charges against Johnson. The second victim confirmed that Johnson did enter her residence and did kiss her against her will and wanted to pursue charges against him. Johnson was booked into Yolo County Jail for disorderly conduct and other charges.

Commercial Burglary: David Flores called police reporting on Nov. 15at around 9:32 a.m. that the VFW Hall located at 345 West Kentucky Avenue was broken into. The unknown suspect(s) pried open multiple doors to get to an ATM machine inside. The suspect(s) pried open the ATM and stole approximat­ely an undisclose­d amount of cash from within. There are no suspects at this time.

Suspicious Object / EOD Callout: An employee at the Post Office located at 108 West Main Street, called police at around 10:40 a.m. reporting a suspicious briefcase-looking item near the entrance to the post office. Officers arrived and evaluated the object and decided to have the area evacuated and call EOD. Officers from EOD responded and X-Rayed the object, which showed electronic­s inside. The robot/operator was unable to open the case and they decided to fire a black powder charge into the object to either destroy or detonate the contents. Officers examined the object afterward and found the case contained an electric typewriter. A documentat­ion report was taken. Weapons Violation: Officers were patrolling in the area 1230 Churchill Downs Avenue when they noticed a vehicle parked in the parking lot after business hours at around 11:15 p.m.. The driver was identified as 19-yearold Woodland resident Isidro Quintero. While officers were conducting a probation search on Quintero, they observed a black pistol lying on the driver seat in plain view.

Officers retrieved the magazine that contained a total of five 9mm bullets. Quintero was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon, possession of ammunition, and probation violation. He was booked at the Yolo County Jail.
