On the move
Northern Dutchess Hospital has named Dawn Morrison, of Red Hook, the new executive director of the Northern Dutchess Hospital Foundation.
Morrison has served as part of the foundation staff since 2010 and, prior to that, held leadership positions at Southlands Foundation, Land Resource Consultants, and the United Way of Dutchess County, among others.
As the new executive director of the Northern Dutchess Hospital Foundation, Morrison will be charged with the task of raising funds, developing and carrying out major gift campaigns, and cultivating donor relationships, along with managing the foundation staff and overseeing operations.
Morrison serves on the Board of Education for the Red Hook Central School District, is a board member and director of communications for the Red Hook Chamber of Commerce, and is past president and longtime member of the Northern Dutchess Hospital Mothers’ Club, as well as past board member of the Northern Dutchess Aquatic Club and former Junior Youth Group coordinator for St. John’s Reformed Church.

Joseph O’Connor, of Mainetti, Mainetti & O’Connor, has been selected to the 2013 Upstate New York Super Lawyers list.
The selection is a result of a third-party validation of his professional accomplishments.
Super Lawyers recognizes attorneys who have distinguished themselves in their legal practice, honoring 5 percent of attorneys in New York.
••• Wayne F. Kelder, superintendent of highways for the town of Rochester, received a 25year attendance award at the 68th annual School for Highway Superintendents co-sponsored by the Association of Towns of the State of New York, Albany and the Cornell Local Roads Program, Ithaca.
••• Tom Jones, Kingston branch manager at Citizens Bank, has been recognized with a Chairman’s Good Banking Award, the highest honor that RBS Citizens Financial Group awards. The Good Banking Awards are part of the bank’s commitment to recognizing colleagues for excellence in areas like customer service and involvement in local communities.

Correction Officer Scott Stedner has been awarded a Medal of Merit by the state Department of Corrections and Community Services. Stedner was cited for action he took while patrolling the perimeter at Eastern New York Correctional Facility when he came upon a one-car accident and rescued a mother and three children from their vehicle, which had landed in a running stream.

Tabitha Calvitti, of Wallkill, has joined the Kingston office of The Reis Group as a commercial lines account manager.
Calvitti holds a broker’s license and has more than 20 years of exper i ence in the insurance industry.
