After a tight first quarter, Pine Bush pulled away for a 63-27 boys basketball victory over Kingston Friday night. Alex Karamanos had 11points including seven foul shots, and Tyler Robinson scored eight.

After a tight first quarter, Pine Bush High pulled away for a 6327 boys basketball victory over Kingston Friday night.

Justin Powell scored 23 points and TJ Wilson and freshman Mason Memmelaar each had nine to lead the Bushmen in the Orange County Interschol­astic Athletic Associatio­n Division I contest.

Kingston trailed 9-7 after the first quarter, but managed 20 points over the final three quarters.

“We made some good defensive decisions at the start, but we couldn’t make shots,” Kingston coach Ron Kelder said, “and it (the lead) kept growing and growing and growing.”

Alex Karamanos had 11 points, including seven foul shots, and Tyler Robinson scored eight to pace K ingston.

The Tigers, which snapped an eight-game losing streak Tuesday, is now 2-12 overall. KINGSTON (27)—R.
