Senior groups list meeting schedules

ROSENDALE » The Rosendale Seniors will meet Wednesday, Feb. 11, at 1 p.m. at the Rosendale Recretion Center, Route 32.

The program will feature a Valentine’s theme with, the origin of Valentine’s Day as the primary topic, followed by social events and light refreshments. The Executive Board meeting will take place at 10:30 a.m. at the center, followed by the business meeting at 1 p.m.

The first trip of the year will be nine days and eight nights, to Biloxi, Miss., New Orleans, La.,

and Montgomery, Ala,. from April 25 to May 3. The trip includes Motorcoach transportation, guided tours, meals, shopping, casino hotel and free time in the French Quarter. Everyone is welcome to join us on this trip. There is no age requirement. The cost is $715 per person, double occupancy. LAKE KATRINE » The Town of Ulster Senior Club will meet Thursday, Feb. 12, at the Town of Ulster Senior Center, 1 Town Hall Drive. Refreshments will be served at 12:30 p.m., with the meeting starting at 1 p.m.

Valentine’s Day will be celebrated with a pizza party. Those who have not yet placed their orders for pizza should contact Paula at (845) 389-0015. She needs a count by Monday, Feb. 9. She can be paid the day of the meeting.

Members are reminded that annual dues for 2015 are due.

The club’s meetings are a time for friendship, socialization and the sharing of ideas. New members are always welcome. Following the meeings, members who wish may stay to play bingo.

KINGSTON » The Sawkill Seniors will meet Wednesday, Feb. 11, at 1 p.m. at the Town Hall, 906 Sawkill Road.

The meetings generally begin with a formal format, followed by a raffle, socializing and refreshments. Later, there will be a card game for those who wish to participate.

During the January meeting, officers were elected. Annual dues are now being collected for those who wish to become members.

All seniors are welcome.
